Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to a caught between hazard.
a) 330 South New Prospect Road, Jackson, NJ -
An employee was injured when his head was caught between the bed and frame
of a tow truck.
On or about 08/25/03.
ABATEMENT NOTE: One feasible and acceptable abatement method would be to
avoid placing
body parts where they may be caught between moving pieces of machinery.
