a)Tool Room-On or about 10/31/03 the Grob Inc.Vertical Bandsaw Type NS24,
was not
equipped with a magnetic restarter or similar device, as prescribed by
American
National
Standards Institute (ANSI) B11.10-1990, Section 5.2.3.4, that in the event
of an interruption in
the electrical supply such a device would prevent the saw from restarting
automatically when
power is restored.
b)Four Slide Area-On or about 10/31/03 the Grob Inc. Vertical Bandsaw Type
NS18, was not
equipped with a magnetic restarter or similar device, as prescribed by
American National
Standards Institute (ANSI) B11.10-1990, Section 5.2.3.4, that in the event
of an interruption in
the electrical supply such a device would prevent the saw from restarting
automatically when
power is restored.
c)Tool Room-On or about 10/31/03 the Sears Craftsman Vertical Bandsaw
model 113-243310,
was not equipped with a magnetic restarter or similar device, as
prescribed by American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) B11.10-1990, Section 5.2.3.4, that in
the event of an
interruption in electrical supply  such a device would prevent the saw
from restarting
automatically when power is restored.
In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required
for this violation
(using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in
addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be
included with
your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to,
evidence of the
purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of
abatement, or other
written records.
