On or about 11/21/04, in front of 1705 SE Sailfish Point Blvd., an
employee was exposed to the
hazard of being struck by motor vehicles because he was not wearing a high
visibility vest while
performing an unloading operation in the road as required in Section 6D.03
paragraph B of the
Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to
correct this hazard
is to provide high visibility vests to employees and require their use
when working in the road
as referenced in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
IN THE ALTERNATIVE 29 CFR 132(a):  Protective equipment was not used when
necessary
whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:
On or about 11/21/04, in front of 1705 SE Sailfish Point Blvd, an employee
was exposed to a
struck by hazard due to the lack of reflective vests.
