Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the National Parks Company, third floor. Employees were performing
tasks, such as:
office jobs, verifying invoices, requisitions, filing documents, purchases
and inventory
among other works. There were six areas with evidence of water filtration
there were
water spots on the ceiling acoustic panels and ceiling light fixtures, and
garbage
cans
used to collect water.,created by the positioning of air units located in
the fourth floor
that belong to the Department of Recreation and Sports

Hazard: Slips and falls.
Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is one to
impermeabilize the ceiling.
En la Compania de Parques Nacionales, tercer piso. Los empleados
realizaban tareas
tales como: trabajos de oficina, verificar facturas, requisiciones,
archivar, compra e
inventatios entre otras cosas. Habia seis areas con evidencia de
filtracion
de agua,
manchas en los plafones acusticos, lamparas de techo y zafacones
utilizados para recoger
el agua, creadas por la colocacion de unidades de aires ubicadas en el
cuarto piso que
pertenecian al Departamento de Recreacion y Deportes.
