furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazard of being struck by flying, broken wheel
fragments from the grinding
on the side of a grinding wheel:
a)  Main Shop Area:  Employees sharpen tools on the side of a Sears 8 inch
Bench Grinder thus
being exposed to the hazard of being struck by flying, broken wheel
fragments.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method is to
prohibit side grinding
on abrasive wheels.
