KRS 338.031(1)(a): Each employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: a.On or about July 10, 2006, the employer did not ensure that at least three employees did not operate the Wright Machine back grinder, Model C48K2N117A4 with a defective emergency stop button that could increase injuries to employees from not being able to shut down the machine in a timely manner and/or be able to shut it down at all. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to correct the hazard is to have management to replace the defective button.
