hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to struck by hazards:
On or about May 11, 2007, and at times prior thereto, employees working at

Danville Street, Metairie, Louisiana, were not wearing high visibility
clothing while
walking and working in the travel lanes of a roadway.
Among other methods of abatement, a feasible and acceptable method to
correct this
hazard is to enforce the use of high visibility vests as referenced in the
2003 Manual on
Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
