hazards, while
performing construction work from an elevated work platform attachment,
which was connected
to a CATERPILLAR TH83 Telehandler.

protect personnel from
falls.

AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT
METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS:
1. The employer should review the Safety Standard for Rough Terrain
Forklift Trucks (ANSI
B56.6-1992) and CATERPILLAR TH83 Telehandler Machine Safety Manual.
Caterpillar
requires employees, who are working from elevated work platforms, while
attached to CAT
rough terrain forklifts or similar equipment, to wear restraint devices.
