Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees
in that employees
were exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
head injuries, bruising and abrasions. Employees were working daily in
different
administrative tasks inside of an office which had one of the acoustic
panels loose and one of
the protective cover of the ceiling lights was broken and hanging over the
employees at  8
feet above the floor.  This cover was holded by tape in two corners.
Location: Inside of the "Departamento de la Familia, Programa ADSEF, Centro
Gubernamental de Sabana Grande, Sabana Grande PR".
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is replace the ceiling lights and the acoustic panel
lesiones en la cabeza y contusiones. Empleados  estuvieron trabajando en
diferentes tareas
administrativas en el interior de una oficina la cual tenia uno de los
plafones acusticos roto y
una de las lamparas de techo tenia la cubierta protectora rota y colgando
sobre los empleados
a 8 pies sobre el nivel del piso.  Esta cubierta protectora estaba
sujetada por cinta adhesiva
en dos esquinas.
Localizacion: Interior de la Oficina del Departamento de la Familia,
Programa ADSEF,
Centro Gubernamental de Sabana Grande, Sabana Grande PR.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo de correccion factible y aceptable para
corregir este riesgo
es reemplazar las lamparas de techo y los paneles acuaticos.

Falls due to slippery conditions. Employees were working daily in
different administrative
tasks inside of an office and There were stains on the acoustic that are
caused by leaks in the
roof, which also causes the floor to get wet when it rains.
Location: Inside of the "Departamento de la Familia, Programa ADSEF, Centro
Gubernamental de Sabana Grande, Sabana Grande PR".
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is repair the roof leaks and replace the acoustic panels.
Caidas debido a condiciones resbalosas.  Empleados estuvieron trabajando
en diferentes
tareas administrativas en el interior de una oficina y se observaron
manchas en los acusticos
que son ocasionadas por las filtraciones que hay en el techo,  lo que
tambien ocasiona que
los pisos se mojen cuando llueve.

Centro Gubernamental de Sabana Grande, Sabana Grande PR.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo de correccion factible y aceptable para
