Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to being thrown from the basket of an aerial lift:
a)  On construction site in from of the building located off Edward Road,
Parsippany, NJ.
Employees were working out an aerial lift basket that were level by the
use cribbing, thereby
exposing the employees been thrown out of the basket.
Violation observed on or about 04/15/2008.
One feasible means, among others, to correct this hazard is to follow the
ANSI A92-2-1969 or
the Owner/operate manual.perate
