Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a. Employees were exposed to recieve injuries such as contusions, at the
DF Office,
Governmental Building, Juana Diaz. It was observed at the archive room,
first floor the
several old archives equipment, the archive's drawer were damaged which
cause that
when the employees open  the drawer it  either fell down or get stuck. The
dimensions
of the archives are 50" height x 15"wide x 25"deep.One feasible and
acceptable method
to correct this hazard, would be among others remove old and damaged
archive and buy
new ones.

a. En la oficina del DF, Edificio Gubernamental, Juana Diaz. Fue observado
en el cuarto
de archivo, primer piso algunos equipo de archivos viejos, la gaveta del
archivo estaban
danada la cual causaba que cuando el empleados abre la gaveta esta se
caiga o se encaje.
Las dimensiones del equipo archivo son 50" de alto x 15" x 25 profundida.
Un metodo
factible y aceptable de corregir este riesgo podria ser entre otros
remover los archivos
viejos y danados y comprar nuevos.
Riesgo: Archivos defectuosos, gavetas se caen
