Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to a fall hazard when operating a Clark OP15b order picker.
a) Warehouse area - An employee was operating the Clark OP15B without fall
protection, disclosed on or about 03/21/11.
ABATEMENT NOTE: Among others, one feasible and acceptable method to abate
this hazard
is to follow the manufactures safety instructions, and wear a tether belt
and lanyard when
operating the order selector.
