Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): Duties of employers. The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer failed to ensure that the following processes were implemented and maintained in accordance with ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008: a.Technicians who use the auto lifts were not trained in accordance with ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008, page 6, para. 4.2. Training was not provided to employees. b.Daily Inspections. The employer did not inspect all the required items during the inspection process in accordance with ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008, page 6, para. 4.4.4. No daily inspection documentation was provided during the inspection. c.Qualified Inspection Procedure. The employer did not establish a periodic inspection procedure in accordance with the recommendations of the lift manufacturer in order to ensure reliability and allowed the continued safe operation of the lift as stated in ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008, page 7, para. 5.1. d.Inspection Points. The employer did not establish and ensure that inspection points were performed in accordance with ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008, page 8, para. 5.6.2 A feasible means of abatement would be to follow the requirements of the ANSI/ALI ALOIM- 2008 to allow the continued safe operation of the automobile lifts.bile
