Health Act of North Carolina:  The
employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment
and a place of employment free from
recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious
physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed to a crushed by hazard.
a)Public Works Shop:  the employer did not implement or maintain periodic
inspections for a
Rotary (Model 0062, 9,000 lbs Capacity) hydraulic automotive lift, which
two employees used
one day a week for fleet maintenance.
