furnish employment and
a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to
cause death or serious physical harm to employees:

Condition:Where employees were exposed to AMX 400 PLN mortar, a corrosive
material, the emergency eye wash bottle was not hands free, could not be
used for both eyes at the same time, and could not continuously flush the
eyes for 15 minutes.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to install and maintain an eye wash that meets the ANSI Z358.1-2004
standard requirements.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training
certification, etc.) is required for this item.
