29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system:    (a)  Alpine Roofing Co, Inc.@ 3530 S. Monaco, Denver, CO 80237: On and before April 22nd, 2011, the employer did not ensure that fall protection systems were utilized for employees working on the roof of Denver Fire Station #22. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while performing re-roofing operations within 6" of the edge on the north and west edge. The employer utilized a safety monitoring as a stand alone system when the roof was greater than 50 feet in width. The hazard exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 15'.
