29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling:         a)  Mata Construction Inc. at 2211 Willow Court, Denver, CO 80238:  On or before 5/21/11, the creating, correcting, and exposing employer did not ensure that employees framing these buildings were protected from falling by a guardrail system, a personal fall arrest system, or a fall monitoring system in the following instances:;         1)  Employees were sheathing a roof with a slope of 3 in 12 without the use of fall protection; and         2)  Employees were working near the open landing to the basement with no guardrails in place.     Conditions exposed employees to fall hazards of up to 12 feet.      Abatement note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed ,"Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
