29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fallhazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed inorder to minimize these hazards:    a. Site- Employees who were exposed to a fall hazard while working from the roof were not provided with fall protection training from the employer.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a. Roof- Employees working from the roof were exposed to a fall of approximately 27 feet where fall protection was not used or provided.
