29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) Workers were observed engaged in residential construction activities re-roofing an existing single family house. Workers were exposed to potential fall hazards from heights of 14.8 and 8.0 feet in that a proper residential or convential fall protection system was not utilized.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fallhazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed inorder to minimize these hazards. Workers were engage din residential construction activities re-roofing an existing single-family house. Workers were working on th eroof area were not properly trained in fall protecion criteria.
