29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrailsystems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    Jim McQueen on or about August 2, 2011, at the address of 155 N. Levitt Rd., Amherst, OH:  The employer did not assure employees were protected from falls while performing framing tasks.  An employee assisting in the framing activities from the roof of a commercial structure was protected from an approximate 19 foot fall hazard at the unprotected edge of the roof.
