OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees are exposed to crushing hazards.      (a)  Employees were exposed to crushing hazards when utilizing the automotive lifts in Bay 2 and Bay 3 and the employer failed to ensure that the safety latches on the automotive lifts in Bay 2 and Bay 3 were operating properly.        The Cema Corp. d.b.a. Midas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH Act of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313525404, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on MArch 31, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 1456 South 108th Street in West Allis, WI 53214.
