OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls, fractures, and crushing injuries    a)Throughout Facility - A Nissan powered industrial truck was used to elevate employee(s) on a wooden pallet, which did not meet the requirements for working platform for elevating personnel.      Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide and require the use of work platform designed to lift personnel in accordance with American Society of Safety Engineers (ASME), B56.1-2005 Safety Standard for Low and High Lift Trucks, Section 4.17.
