29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a)  On or about October 6, 2011, and at times prior to that date, for the employees working on the second floor of the project taping sheetrock in a room and exposed to a potential fall hazard of approximately 12 feet where the guardrail system was removed on the east wall of the room, located at 6709 South Minnesota Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
