29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):  Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a. On or about November 15, 2011, at the above addressed jobsite employees working atop the 10/12 pitched roof were exposed to falls of approximately 13 feet due to the lack of a conventional fall protection system.
