CFR 1926.100(a): Employer did not provide head protection for employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects. (a) Jose Chavez Roofing, 2423 W. 29th Street, Greeley, CO 80631: On and before December 8, 2011, the controlling and exposing employer failed to ensure that adequate head protection was provided for employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury. Specifically, an employee was witnessed working beneath a two story roof where roofing work was taking place. This condition exposed employee to the possibility of head injury.

(a) Jose Chavez Roofing, 2423 West 29th Street, Greeley, CO 80631: On and before December 8, 2011, the controlling and exposing employer failed to ensure that adequate eye and face protection were provided for employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of eye injury. Specifically, an employee was witnessed working on a roof with a pneumatic nail gun without adequate eye protection. This condition exposed employees to the possibility of eye injury.
