29 CFR 1926.501(b)(6): "Ramps, runways, and other walkways." Each employee on ramps, runways, and other walkways shall beprotected from falling 6 feet (1.8 m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems. a. On the roof where employees from the roofing company were installing flashing, after completion of the work the employer removed the fall protection system while work was still beng performed thereby creating a 60 foot fall hazard for other trades on the roof.
