29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i):  Openings through which conductors entered cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:    a. Site - Live electrical wires were hanging from junction boxes.      The Lowe's Home Center Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection #315737155, Citation 1, Item 1, issued on 8/19/2009. The store location was at 208 72nd Trace NE, Live Oak, FL 32064.  The final order date for this citation was 9/13/2011. The company received a settlement for $2805.00.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(1):  Flexible electric cords were fastened with staples or otherwise hung in such a fashion as could damage the outer jacket or insulation:      a. Site - Portable lighting fixture in use was hanging and supported by a non-approved method.         The Lowe's Home Center Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent, standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA's inspection number 313494270, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1b, issued on 6/30/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 1111 Bradley Street. Festus, MO 63028. The final order date for this citation was on 7/20/2009.
