29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1):     Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii)    a)  910 Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ:  Employees were working from scaffold that was not fully planked.  The employees were working from one board that was streched from end to end of the scaffold and did not provide a proper working surface.  The width of the board that they were working from was 9" wide.  The gap between the boards was greater then 1" in width, observed on or about 2/27/12.     NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):     Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section:    a)  910 Hainsport-Mt. Laurel Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ:  Employees were utilizing scaffolding and were not protected from falls.  The employees were working at a height of a 20 feet from the ground level.  The scaffold did not have proper railing systems such as mid and top rails to prevent falls and the employees were not utilizing personal fall protection systems, observed on or about 2/27/12.      NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1):     When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, sturcure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  Crossbraces were used as a means of access.    a)  910 Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ:  Employees were using the scaffold framing to access the differnt levels of the scaffold to conduct work.  The scaffold used was not designed to be use a access, observed on or about 2/27/12.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
