29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1):     A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:    a. Where half mask, cartridge and single use, disposable respirators were used for spray painting, mixing paints, and other body shop work, a respirator program was not written and some provisions not implemented including fit testing and medical evaluation for the spray painter.  (Solvent based paints were used for spraying.  The written program would include all requirements of the standard, 1910.134(c)(1)(i) through (ix).  Training includes providing Appendix D of the standard for employees using single use, disposable respirators.)    Abatement documentation is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):     The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift:    a. Where hazardous chemicals were contained in paints and components, including xylene, ehtyl benzene, butyl acetate, MEK, and isocyanates, all required material safety data sheets were not available or were not organized in a manner so that they were readily retrievable, including an index that preceeded the organized data sheets.    Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
