29 CFR 1926.304(g)(1): The upper hood did not completely enclose the upper portion of the blade down to a point that included the end of the saw arbor. The upper hood shall be constructed in such a manner and of such material that it protected the operator from flying splinters, broken saw teeth, etc., and deflected sawdust away from the operator. The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device automatically adjusts itself to the thickness of the stock and remained in contact with stock being cut giving maximum protection possible for the operation being performed:      a)  East exterior area of the structure; On or about March 27, 2012, and at times prior thereto, two employees were utilizing an Delta Sawbuck, Model 33-150 with missing an upper guard to cut dimensional lumber.    b) East exterior area of the structure; On or about March 27, 2012, and at times prior thereto, two employees were utilizing an Delta Sawbuck, Model 33-150 with missing lower guards to cut dimensional lumber.
