29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1):     An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting:    a)  Throughout the facility, on or about03/29/12:  Employees were not provided with training regarding the use, limitations and hazards associated with fire extinguishers.    ABATEMENT NOTE:  By the abatement date, the employer must either correct this alleged violation or implement a Fire Safety Policy as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.38(a) and (b) which includes the evaluation requirements of 29 CFR 1910.157(b).    Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):     The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area.    a)  Throughout the facility, on or about 03/29/12:  Employees using hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to bleach and CLR were not provided training in the safe use of the chemicals and the employers hazard communication program.    Abatemnent certification must be submitted for this item.
