Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.    (a) Location - Storage Room:  On or about 4/11/12, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from un-secured materials that were not stored to prevent them from sliding and collapsing.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1):   Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.    (a) On or about 4/11/12, the employer failed to maintain 30 inches working clearances distant in front of an electrical box.    Trader Joes East, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303 (g)(1) (ii) which was contained in OSHA Inspection #: 313946295, Citation Number 01, Item Number 003(a), issued 1/15/10 with respect to a workplace located at 211 Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge, MA 02138. The Final Order date for the Citation was on 2/4/10.
