29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On or about 6/12/2012, 1251 South SR-7 in the city of Plantation, FL; an employee was engaged in beam stripping on top of the parapet at the edge of a commercial roof approximately 26'-8" above ground without any means of fall protection.    NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR THIS ITEM.
