HURTADO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312924467, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON 09/12/2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT DEL WEBB RICHMOND SUBDIVISION, RICHMOND, TEXAS 77469.

29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62m) of lateral travel for employees:    a)  At the Aliana subdivision: Section 8, employees were engaged in trenching/excavation work and using the sides of the 10 foot deep trench to access and egress the work area, exposing employees to engulfment hazards.    HURTADO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITE FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312924467, CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON 09/12/2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE AT DEL WEBB RICHMOND SUBDIVISION IN RICHMOND, TEXAS.

29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section:    a)  At the site, employees were installing a storm drainage line, inside a trench with approximate dimensions of 18 feet in length X 25 feet in width X 10 feet in depth and an approximate slope of 95 degrees, exposing employees to engulfment hazards.    HURTADO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312924467, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 4 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON 09/12/2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT DEL WEBB RICHMOND SUBDIVISION, RICHMOND, TEXAS 77469.
