29 CFR 1926.451(a)(6):     Scaffolds shall be designed by a qualified person and shall be constructed and loaded in accordance with that design. Non-mandatory Appendix A to this subpart contains examples of criteria that will enable an employer to comply with paragraph (a) of this section.    (a).  Worksite located at 811 Atlantic, North Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that the platform that was being elevated too large for the lifting device. The guardrails were also not raised to the required height.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv):     Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless they have been specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use.    (a).  Worksite located at 811 Atlantic, North Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall or collapse hazard in that the front-end loader was not designed to lift a platform of this magnitude.
