29 CFR 1926.1412(f)(1): The equipment was not inspected at least every 12 months by a qualified person in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section.     On or about June 26, 2012 and at times prior thereto, an American Model 7260 crawler crane, S/N 8409AP3288 was being used to water jet pilings without being inspected within the past 12 months in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section(each shift). This exposed the operator and employees working in the near vicinity to injury should a recognizeable malfunction occur creating failures such as but not limited to boom and structural collapse, brake, clutch, and motor failure which could cause a loss of the load and or the crane to overturn.
