29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a)  200 Eton Row, Condo 2B, Weehawken, NJ at the ladder access to the 3rd floor level.    Employees were exposed to 11 foot falls to the concrete floor below as the ladder that was used to access the 3rd floor did so to a platform that was lacking guardrails or other forms of fall protection.    b)  200 Eton Row, Condo 2B, Weehawken, NJ at the ladder access to the 2nd floor level.    Employees were exposed to 8 to 9 foot falls to the ground below as the ladder that was used to access the 2nd floor did so to a balcony that was lacking guardrails or other forms of fall protection.                                               Violation observed on or about 05/19/2012.

29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1):     Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.    a)  200 Eton Row, Condo 2B, Weehawken, NJ at the 4th Floor, North Edge of Metal Decking.    Worker involved in securing metal decking at the deck's edge was exposed to falls of approximately 32 feet to the ground below as he was not attached to his personal fall protection system's lifeline.                                  Violation observed on or about 05/19/2012.

Workers who were exposed to fall hazards when they were involved in assemblying the Steelrite System of securing metal decking and structural steel metal framing were not trained in the fall protection requirements of Subpart R, Steel Erection.
