29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.    On or about May 31 2012, the employer did not ensure employees performing work from a roof were in use of fall protection.  The employees were installing shingles onto a roof with unprotected sides and edges and were exposed to a fall hazard of more than 6 feet to the ground below.
