29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system:    a)  Employees were not protected from the hazard of falling while performing roofing work on low-sloped roof with a ground to eave height of approximately 30 feet.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1):  The employer shall comply with the manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators:    a)  Employer provided and allowed its employees to use a Garlock Equipment Company's Hand Power Hoist, that was not equipped with approved counterweights.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
