29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor  did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502.    At a residential constructed site: On the roof of the residence, employees were conducting roofing operations on a 10:12 pitch roof and were not protected from falling 25 feet to the ground and measurements were determined by using a slope card.     ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    Residential construction site: The employees were installing roofing shingles and the employer failed to ensure that the ladder was at least 3 feet above the edge of the roof prior to the employees accessing it.     ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION NOT REQUIRED
