29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):     One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:     At the worksite, on or about August 2, 2012, machinery was not guarded as indicated in the following instances:  (a)  A guard was not provided for the rotating chuck on the American Turnmaster 15 x 10 lathe, s/n 90749, located in the Machining area.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of contact with rotating parts.    (b) A guard was not provided for the rotating chuck on the Hardinge lathe located in the Machining area.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of contact with rotating parts.    (c)  A guard was not provided for the rotating chuck on the Turnmaster lathe, AT-1550G, located in the Lathe Machine area.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of contact with rotating parts.    (d)  A guard was not provided for the rotating chuck on the American Turnmaster lathe, HCAS TL-2, located in the Lathe Machine area.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of contact with rotating parts.    (e) A guard was not provided for the rotating chuck on the HwaCheon lathe, HL25" x 118", located in the Lathe Machine area.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of contact with rotating parts.    (f)  A guard was not provided for the rotating pulley-drum on the left side of the Sander/Grinder located by the door leading into the Sanding & Buffing area.  This condition exposed employees to contact with in-running nip points.    (g)  A guard was not provided for the belt on the 1" Sander/Grinder, Model No. 351.226110, located in the Sanding & Buffing area. This condition exposed employees to contact with in-running nip points.    (h) A guard was not provided on the upper exposed sanding belt and rotating pulley-drum on the right side of the 1" Sander/Grinder, Model No. 351.226110, located in the Sanding & Buffing area. This condition exposed employees to contact with in-running nip points.

Wilson Drive in Conway, Arkansas, a Hazard Communication Program had not been developed for the benefit of employees using and/or exposed to hazardous chemicals/ingredients such as but not limited to acetone, xylene and MEK contained in the Sherwin Williams Industrial paints; and argon used with the 70 series wire feed welding rods.
