29 CFR 1915.77(c): When employees were working aloft, or elsewhere at elevations more than 5 feet above a solid surface, either scaffolds or a sloping ladder, meeting the requirements of this Subpart E, shall be used to afford safe footing, or the employees shall be protected by safety belts and lifelines meeting the requirements of 1915.159 and 1915.160:    a) On or about August 16, 2012 and times prior, on boats in drydock: The employer failed to ensure an employee conducting work on the anchor windless front bow deck of a boat in drydock without fall protection was protected from falling 10-12 feet to the concrete pad below exposing the employee to the hazards associated with falls.    b) On or about August 16, 2012 and times prior, on boats in drydock: The employer failed to ensure an employee mounting a radar base on top of the deck house of a boat in drydock without fall protection was protected from falling 5-5.5 feet to the deck below exposing the employee to the hazards associated with falls.    c) On or about August 16, 2012 and times prior, on boats in drydock: The employer failed to ensure an employee painting the mast of a boat in drydock without fall protection was protected from falling 10-12 feet to the concrete pad below exposing the employee to the hazards associated with falls.
