29 CFR 1926.1126(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): (a) Process Piping Installation Services, LLC, 1500 1st Ave., Greeley, CO 80631: On and before 8/28/12, the employer did not determine, in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2) or (d)(3) of this section, the 8-hour TWA exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI). Employees perform welding on stainless steel parts which can release chromium (VI). This condition could result in employees wearing inappropriate respiratory protection for the situation and exposure to chromium (VI).

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (a) Process Piping Installation Services, LLC, 1500 1st Ave., Greeley, CO 80631: On and before 8/28/12, the employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at the workplace a site specific written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met. Employees perform welding on stainless steel parts which can release chromium (VI) and other metals. Abatement note: The written hazard communication program will also include: (1) A list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using an identity that is referenced on the appropriate material safety data sheet (the list may be compiled for the workplace as a whole or for individual work areas); and, (2) The methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards of non-routine tasks. The requirements applicable to construction work under this section are identical to those set forth at 29 CFR 1910.1200 of this chapter.

Employees perform welding on stainless steel parts which can release chromium (VI) and other metals. The requirements applicable to construction work under this section are identical to those set forth at 29 CFR 1910.1200 of this chapter.
