29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i):  Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, shall be equipped with at least one handrail:    (a) Rear Stairway - Workers were observed, using a metal stairway with 7 risers on its lower portion and 11 risers on it upper portion, to access their work area and there was no handrail, on or about September 21, 2012.                                                   ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):  Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, shall be equipped with one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge:    (a)  Rear Stairway - Workers were observed, using a metal stairway that had 7 risers on lower level and 11 risers on the upper level to access their work area and it was missing a stairrail system, on or about September 21, 2012.                                             ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings shall be provided with guardrail systems. Guardrail system criteria are contained in subpart M of this part:    (a) Rear Stairway - Workers were observed, using a stairway to access their work area, that had a landing missing a guardrail system and they were exposed to a 10 feet 1 inch fall hazard, on or about September 21, 2012.
