29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):       Worksite: The employees who were working on the first floor deck of the residential home under construction were not protected from fall hazards to the basement or ground below by the use of guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems or coverings over holes.    On or about 10/04/2012 the company Owner fell through an open hole on a residential construction site causing him to sustain multiple fractures and other severe injuries.
