29 CFR 1910.94(a)(5)(i):     Employer used respirators that were not approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under 42 CFR part 84 to protect employees from dusts produced during abrasive-blasting operations:    a. Sandblast enclosure area - when respirators were required for sandblasting operations, a RPB Nova 2000 respirator was used without the manufacturer's breathing airline hose. Sandblast enclosure area - during sandblasting operations when employee(s) were required to wear a RPB Nova 2000 respirator, the employer did not use a high-temperature or carbon monoxide alarm, or both, to monitor carbon monoxide levels  when a diesel 375 Sullair oil air compressor was used.
