29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed:    Location: 245 Marlborough Street, Portland, CT 06480    The Werner 10 foot fiberglass stepladder was used in the closed position and leaning against the east side of the building was not used for purposes as designed.    On October 18, 2012, an employee working on the ladder in the closed position in order to remove siding from the east wall of the building fell and sustained serious bodily injuries.
