The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.      a. Club House, Mill Creek Place Apartments, Hattiesburg MS - On or about November 1, 2012 a DeWalt chop saw had a piece of wood wedged in the upper guard to prevent the guard from covering the blade when cutting bricks.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(i):     Footings shall be level, sound, rigid, and capable of supporting the loaded scaffold without settling or displacement.    a. Club house, Mill Creek Place Apartments, Hattiesburg MS - On or about November 1, 2012 the baseplates of a welded frame scaffold located at the back of the club house were not sitting squarely on the mudsills.  The baseplates were over the edge of the mudsills.
