Chemical storage cabinet unit beneath the lab hood next to entrance door was not completely sealed and did not contain conspicuous warning lettering as required by NFPA-251-1969.

29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment were kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allowed. (a) On or about 02/27//2013, in the wet/prep laboratory, for the chemist(s), technician(s) and cleaning staff. Keyboard surfaces for computer on bench top was contaminated with Estradiol. Wipe sample collected from surfaces of keyboard indicated results of 1.133 micrograms of Estradiol. Estradiol may be harmful by inhalation, ingestion or skin absorption and can cause adverse health effects including eye, skin or respiratory system irritation and cancer.
