29 CFR 1910.124(g)(2):  Employees who  worked with liquids that could burn, irritate, or otherwise harm their skin were not provided with an emergency shower and eye-wash station close to the dipping and coating operation:    (a) The emergency eye wash in the Nickel/Black Chrome area was not operational, in that the valve was rusted shut, when workers were exposed to splash potential of corrosive acid and alkaline solutions contained in the dip tanks.    (b) The emergency eyewash in the Anodizing area was not fully functional, in that the eyewash was not tested and flushed frequently enough to prevent rust and scale from being ejected when the eyewash was operated.    This employer was previously cited  for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.124(g)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314100595, citation number 1, item number 2, issued on October 18, 2010, which became a final order on October 27, 2010 through a stipulated settlement agreement.
